I am a farmer, love agriculture, and believe that agriculture is important.

Agriculture

Agriculture encompasses crop and livestock production, aquaculture, fisheries and forestry for food and non-food products (The State of Food and Agriculture 2021. Making agrifood systems more resilient to shocks and stresses. Rome: Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. 2021). Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization, whereby farming of domesticaed species created food surpluises that enabled people to live in cities. While humans started gathering grains at least 105,000 years ago, nascent farmers only began planting them around 11,500 years ago. Sheep, goats, pigs and cattle were domesticated around 10,000 years ago. Plants were independently cultivated in at least 11 regions of the world. In the twentieth century, industrial agriculture based on large-scale came to dominate agricultural output.

Social Stratification

In general, there are levels within the farmer. Can be divided into levels. Among them: Owner Farmers, Tenant Farmers, Farm Laborers. Owner Farmers Are farmers who have more than one hectare of land for crops and or more than two hectares of land for perennials. This type of land is enough to support a farming family for a full year if it is productive. Tenant Farmers These farmers do not own land. But have the ability to rent land. He will use the energy he has to work. So that his life is guaranteed in the range of months. Farm Laborers These farmers are the lowest class. Can only use the manpower and opportunity to be employed by Owner Farmers & Tenant Farmers. His needs are met within the daily grace period.

Developers Experience

Developers have experience at all three levels. Starting from labor farmers, tenant farmers to owners farmers. Currently the developer has his own agricultural land both for crops and perennials. The bitterness of being a farm laborer has been felt. Likewise with the pressure of being a tenant farmer. This is also the background why this project is always related to agriculture. Until now the developer is still active as a land owner.
